How we work
Better Start Speech Pathologists use comprehensive assessments and the latest therapy techniques, strategies and tools based on current research.
We use a fun and interactive therapy approach to engage children. We ensure children enjoy the therapy games and receive positive reinforcement whilst explicitly targeting areas of concern.
If your child works with a Special Education Teacher, Education Support Officer or Early Childhood Support Worker, we can discuss the therapy goals so that they can be incorporated during support time at kindy or school.
We work closely with parents and teachers. In order to provide a comprehensive service we provide both you and teachers with your child’s current goals.
Importantly, we clearly explain to parents and teachers what the specific difficulty is and the best ways to help your child in order to achieve the best results.
