Some children can benefit from extra literacy support provided by our Learning Support Tutor who works collaboratively with our team. This support is available for children at home or school. Tutoring support is only available for children who have had a speech pathology assessment with Better Start, so that we can determine the goals and program suitable for your child.
Families may also seek counselling support. The pathways through school can be difficult to negotiate on your own. Our counsellor is available for families who require advocacy support about their child’s learning difficulties. Attending school meetings with a counsellor/advocate can help to ease a stressful situation, and provide a second opinion in determining the best pathway for your child.
